Predictive maintenance

Prevention is better than cure. According to the NF EN 13306 X 60-319 standard, predictive maintenance is defined as "conditional maintenance carried out according to forecasts extrapolated from the analysis and evaluation of significant parameters of the deterioration of the asset".

Predictive maintenance is based on information collected by means of measurements. The processing of this data allows a precise diagnosis of the situation (condition) to be obtained. This makes it possible to meet a double objective: to reduce the frequency of breakdowns and to reduce the frequency of repair interventions.

Finally, isn't the challenge of today to minimise maintenance costs and the means of collecting and processing data?
